Hello world, I am starting a new venture. you may be new to my blog or you may know me through digital scrapbooking. I want a place to let the world know who I am and what i have to offer. i want a place to freely share my faith, to post about my sewing projects and to just have fun. I hope that you will start to follow me and learn something along the way. Where are we without help from friends? i may joke a lot and have fun, life is boring without a few mishaps, am I right? god knows, i have plenty of those.
Let me introduce myself, I am truly- Faith True. Born Faith and married into True. I am married to Jonathan and together we have a soon to be 8 year old boy, Arthur, and a pretty little toddler, Esther Rose, who is 15 months on the 21st of June. I love my life, my family and I am a nut for Jesus. You can call me crazy, but what I KNOW I know.
In 2006, I found a way to help assist my family financially and it was very unexpected. I was a digital scrapbook designer and until recently, I still was. I resigned to be a more attentive mother and to pursue other hobbies. I may go back one day, who knows, but I am enjoying my break.
At this time, I am pursuing sewing as a hobby and a small means of income. It allows me to spend less time and my daughter loves to sit in my lap while I sew. I can also alter her clothing to have cute more wearable fashions. It may seem vain but it brings me joy. I think my favorite thing to make right now are refashioned shirts and bags!
Here is a picture of my family from February. It's so rare that we get a family photo op that I don't even mind the smudged faces or the fact that my husband has closed eyes or even that my son wasn't wearing a shirt under his sweater and his tongue was sticking out. I don't even care that my daughter wasn't paying attention and she was not wearing clothes. Why don't I care? Because we look happy, because we look loved, and because we feel the peace of each others presence. Isn't that what love and life is about?
I rarely get photos of my son, he's going on 8 and avoids my camera at all costs. He also avoids words like please, thank you, and love. We are working on that.Little do I get to photograph my husband willingly, either. However, I get a plethora of photos from Esther Rose. When I make her little outfit refashions, she lets me take photos but she is usually very busy. This is what I got yesterday:
Doesn't it look like tearing out wipes from the box is a lot of fun? Yeah, I thought so too. "wink"
Ok, I think I gave you a good introduction, I'll be back as often as I can, I think I am boring the heck out of my facebook followers with my sewing projects so I need to post them here (which is about daily!).
